About The Frank Wolf Project
On the memorial wall at Kol Ami synagogue in Tucson, there is a name: Frank Wolf. His name is perhaps the oldest one on the wall. Yet when I asked around, no one could tell me anything about him. We do not know who he was, where he came from, what he loved, or what he believed. Frank Wolf's name survived. His story did not. From that realization, The Frank Wolf Project was born. I sit with members of the Tucson Jewish community, one conversation at a time, and I listen. I ask about the worlds they grew up in, the families they came from, the traditions they carried, the moments that shaped them, and the things they most want the next generation to know. Every story I record is a life rescued from silence. Every conversation is a brick in a living archive that will outlast all of us. There are people in every Jewish community whose stories are at risk of disappearing simply because no one has asked to hear them. I am asking. Every name has a story. I would be honored to hear yours.
